Why the PE400 Extrusion Line Maximizes Your Pipe Factory Output
One line, four materials, 400mm max output. This PE400 extrusion line combines a high-efficiency single screw extruder (SJ75/38 or SJ90/38) with a specialized barrier screw design that increases extrusion capacity by roughly 30 percent while reducing power consumption. The complete line integrates vacuum calibration, multi-stage spray cooling, and synchronized caterpillar haul-off into a single Siemens PLC-controlled system. Simply change the screw and temperature profile to switch between HDPE water pipes, gas pipes, PE-RT II heating pipes, and PPR plumbing pipes. At 0.5 to 10 meters per minute line speed across DN50-400mm, this PE400 extruder gives your factory the flexibility to serve multiple markets from a single production line.
◆ 30 Percent Higher Output, Lower Energy. Specialized barrier screw design in this PE400 pipe extruder increases melt homogenization and throughput. Higher output per kilowatt-hour means lower production cost per meter of HDPE pipe.
◆ Vacuum Calibration for Perfect Roundness. A 6-9 meter stainless steel vacuum tank maintains precise diameter control across the entire PE400 extrusion line. Consistent roundness and wall thickness from the first meter to the last.
◆ Gravimetric Dosing plus Ultrasonic Thickness. Optional gravimetric dosing system precisely controls material flow. Real-time ultrasonic thickness measurement auto-adjusts extruder or haul-off speed to keep wall thickness within tolerance.
◆ Siemens PLC One-Button Start. Centralized smart control with English interface. One-button startup and real-time monitoring of temperature, speed, pressure, and thickness on the PE400 extruder touch screen.
◆ Heavy-Duty Caterpillar Haul-off. Three or four synchronized caterpillar tracks provide massive pulling force for large-diameter, thick-wall HDPE pipes without deformation or slippage.
