Why PE-RT II Fittings Are Essential for High-Temperature Plastic Piping
PE-RT II pipe handles hot water up to 80°C continuously, but its performance depends on joints that can do the same. Standard PE fittings soften at these temperatures — PE-RT II fittings are formulated for thermal endurance. Our electrofusion PE-RT II fittings use embedded heating coils and digital barcode-controlled fusion to create homogeneous joints that are stronger than the PE-RT II pipe itself. For secondary heating networks, district heating laterals, and industrial hot water, PE-RT II fittings ensure that every junction maintains the same thermal and pressure performance as the pipe.

This material continuity eliminates the chemical compatibility issues and thermal expansion mismatches that occur when using standard PE100 or metal fittings with PE-RT II pipe. 80°C continuous rating matches the pipe exactly.
