Primary District Heating Trunk Pipeline Retrofit Project

As one of the coldest capital cities in the world, Astana required a massive upgrade of its aging underground heating infrastructure. Sanjie Pipe Mart supplied high-specification DN500 Pre-insulated Polyurethane Pipes designed to withstand heavy underground soil loads and active groundwater.

Manufactured using Sanjie’s proprietary one-step continuous extrusion process, the pipes feature high-density PUR insulation foam that creates an impermeable barrier against external humidity. The heavy-duty black HDPE outer jacket offers exceptional compression resistance and corrosion resistance. The application of these pre-insulated pipelines has significantly improved Astana's municipal energy transmission efficiency, minimizing pipeline failures and thermal bridge energy losses, and ensuring long-term underground operational safety.
